11:00AM Massage. I’m not a frivolous pay-for-a-massage kind of guy but my right shoulder blade area has been hurting for quite a while. When I inadvertently swing it back or to the side the deep dull pane rages into an all consuming pain that slowly fades away. The Dr. gave me some anti-inflammation pills. They helped some while I took them but things went back to hurting when I quit. I quit working out till I go to a specialist and figure it out. Traveling keeps the pain at a noticeable lever. The Hotel Maya has a masseuse on staff at $20 for half hour. I’ll give it a try.

The masseuse is a big boned (Central American) Indian woman carrying sufficient weight on the substantial frame. Her demeanor is no-nonsense and she had nothing to say. First she ran over me with a VW Beetle, then back and forth with a full size SUV, then loaded Mack gravel trucks. The only difference between me and the road kill you drove past the other day is that it is out of its misery. A few times the pain was just at the quit-and-run level and she would back off for a second. I had no idea 30 minutes could be last so long. I think she must have killed all the nerves in my back because there is no pain and I have almost full range with my arm. She said the mussels were a little tight and I aught come back in a few days. If I can get up the courage, I will.
